Partner
Jim began working in the field of public accounting in 1977 with an Associate Degree in Accounting and Tax. He became a senior staff accountant at a local CPA firm before starting Serakos, Ltd. in 1983. During his career, his focus has been on small businesses, providing basic needs in all accounting areas, and individual tax preparation. He is a member of the National Society of Accountants and the National Society of Tax Professionals.

Partner
Theodore (TJ) joined our team in November of 2009. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Saint Cloud State University, where he graduated cum laude. After college, he took a position with a larger CPA firm in Minneapolis working in both tax and assurance departments. T.J. is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants and AICPA.

Veronica has experience with individual and business taxation, accounting, payroll, HR, and business management development. She is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and is actively involved with our monthly accounting clients.

Kristin joined our team in August of 2015. With her degree in Spanish Studies from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and her 16 years of professional experience in the accounting industry, she offers our clients a unique array of valuable customer service and technical skills.

Tax and Accounting Manager
Eric joined our team in June of 2016. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting (Public Focus) from Saint John’s University. After college he took a position with a larger firm in the St. Cloud area where he worked primarily in the tax department. Eric is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Tina joined our team in January of 2016. Before that, she worked at Counselor Realty where she obtained years of experience and knowledge in office administration, office management, customer service, QuickBooks, and data input.

Tax Manager
Jim joined our team in 2016. He attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls where he studied accounting and graduated summa cum laude in 2011. He attained his CPA certification in 2013. Jim has experience with individual and business taxation, monthly bookkeeping, and financial statement engagements.

Lucas joined our team in January of 2017. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Augsburg University, where he graduated summa cum laude. After college, he took a position with a larger CPA firm in Plymouth, working in tax compliance and public company tax provisions. Lucas is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA and MNCPA.

Senior Accountant
Andy joined our team in June of 2018 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a degree in Business Administration (Financial Services emphasis). He enjoys gaining exposure to multiple different areas of the accounting world and plans to attain the CPA certification in the near future.
Andy is a huge sports fan and coaches an AAU basketball team in the summer.

Staff Accountant
Jess joined our team in July of 2018 where she started off as our part-time office administrator/receptionist. Prior to her hire, she was a debt collection specialist for over 7 years. She graduated with an associate degree in accounting in December of 2019 and is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in accounting. Jess is one of our staff accountants and helps with administrative duties when necessary.

With her many years of experience in management, business operations, employee relations, accounting, payroll, and benefits, Cheryl brings a valuable skill set to our team and clients.
