Email MeJim began working in the field of public accounting in 1977 with an Associate Degree in Accounting and Tax. He became a senior staff accountant at a local CPA firm before starting Serakos, Ltd. in 1983. During his career, his focus has been on small businesses, providing basic needs in all accounting areas, and individual tax preparation. While growing his accounting practice, Jim entered the Home Health Care industry. He formed a Medicare Certified Home Health Care Agency and has held positions on several regional and statewide committees. He has since sold that business, but remains on the statewide finance committee and provides specialized services to the industry. Over the past 38 years, Jim has developed an ability to help small businesses become successful with his experience and dedication to their success.

From individuals with small businesses or rental properties to retirees with minimal filing requirements. He also has experience in assisting new start-up businesses in all areas of their accounting and tax needs.

Personal Interests:
Jim and his wife of 32 years, Jennie, live in the north metro. They enjoy spending time with their three children and six grandchildren, fishing, golfing, traveling, and an occasional motorcycle ride.
